SU to join virtual, national education fair
Silliman University (SU) joins other educational institutions in the country to promote its academic programs and scholarship opportunities in the 4th Education & Career Fair Virtual Expo & Seminar organized by TEG Events Management on Vmeets, a virtual event platform, March 1-2, 2021.
Yolanda V. Maxino, student recruitment officer; Rhodora T. Sagun, Scholarships and Aid Division head; and Krystle Joyce M. Ozoa, marketing assistant, will represent SU in the event.
SU will have a virtual booth where its marketing materials will be displayed.
Through the virtual booth, SU will also be able to interact with online visitors.
SU also invited Asst. Prof. Arsenio D. Bulfa, College of Agriculture research coordinator and instructor, to talk about “Precision Agriculture: Preparing Our Students Toward Climate-Smart Farming” in SU’s webinar that will be held during the two-day event.
Jose Paolo Echavez, SU Student Government president who is studying Agriculture, will also speak about his experience as a student in SU during the webinar.
The event will also feature webinars on topics such as applying for programs and scholarships.
Students in grades 10 to 12 from public and private schools all over the country, including Philippine schools overseas, and those who wish to pursue post-graduate studies were invited to the event.
Other educational institutions that will join the event as exhibitors include: Colegio de San Juan de Letran University, University of Santo Tomas, Mapua University, Far Eastern University, Technological Institute of the Philippines, De La Salle College of St. Benilde, Enderun College, MINT College, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts, Our Lady of Fatima University, University of Asia & the Pacific, Federal Aviation Administration Academy, Asian Institute of Maritime Studies, and St. Scholastica’s College.
