SU junior high school student bags awards for archery in nat’l sports competition

Naina Dominique Dicen Tagle, a Grade X student at Silliman University Junior High School, bagged major awards in six archery events during the 2023 Batang Pinoy (BP), which was held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila on December 18-23, 2023.

Tagle’s performance earned her a gold in 30 meters, a gold in 50 meters, a bronze in 60 meters, a silver in 70 meters, a gold in FITA, and a gold in Olympic Round.

BP, which was created through Executive Order No. 44 in 1998, is one of the national sports competition programs under the Philippine Sports Commission. It provides a platform for the youth to develop their athletic potentials.
